Description

Remime.com is a birthday and event reminder service. The user can test the service without logging in, but to save any reminders, he is prompted to register.

Friends (for Birthdays) are entered by importing contacts (names and emails) from user's email account or manually. The friends' birthdays can be entered manually, or by the friends themselves via "Get a Birthday" option that sends a batch invite to all the contacts the user selects in this form. After entering their birthdays, these friends (contacts) are invited to join Remime as well. 

The newest feature involving birthdays is "Share Birthdays" option, which allows the user to send selected contacts and their birthdays to someone else who will then be prompted to sign up with Remime to import them. 

The Birthday Reminder prompts the user to store the gender, First and Last name, and Birthday as mandatory information. Additional ones are: Nickname, Town, Email, Mobile phone, Homepage and Info. Options for the reminder alarm are: 2 weeks before (the birthday), 1 week before, One day before and On this day, and they can all be selected. 

Event Reminders can have one-time alarms or repeating alarms. In case of one-time alarms, the user enters the event, date of the event and the time when he wished to be alarmed. The option "On this day" is pre-selected, and additionally the user can select "x Days before". Optional information for the event are Message and Tags. 

Events with repeating alarms have the same basic information, only the alarm options change. In this case, they now have Start date, Frequency, Alarm time and End date.

All Birthdays and Events are listed by the date of approaching on each accompanying tab including the home page, and users can easily edit and delete them there.

Remime is available in English and German version, and comes with an accompanying Facebook app called BirthdayWatch. On site, Remime has an email invites system for users to spread the word.

There is a new site design ready, but not yet implented. With this design, we have tested and planned to launch our new fully functional eCards selling system. We also have a funny Happy Birthday 3D video of Remime, ready to go into post-production. It is planned to go on YouTube for free sharing and more exposure for Remime. Remime is associated with Amazon and online flowers purchase system and has marketing banners implemented with every email that it sends out.

The future growth of Remime depends on good marketing and accompanying mobile apps, for which us founders had no time or money to develop further.
