Fifty Fantastic Recipes For Sale

I have two websites for sale in this auction.  One is http://www.fifty-fantastic-recipes.com and the other is http://www.dog-and-cat-food.com.  These sites were created to sell downloadable cookbooks with fifty recipes in each cookbook.  I started out with the main site and then created the Dog and Cat Food site to sell a combo of those two cookbooks to pet owners.  I have tried to sell these separately but because they are branded "Fifty Fantastic Recipes" it makes sense to sell them to the same person.

The recipes are from the public domain, lightly rewritten and usually retitled.  The beauty of these cookbooks are they are on niche topics which will sell well if someone takes the time to promote the sites.

After listing this sites on Flippa the PageRank of 2 disappeared but I'm assuming that this is temporary and this will be fixed when Google next spiders the sites.

Included in this auction are:

The two URLs mentioned above.
The two Wordpress sites with graphics.
The rights to the "Fifty Fantastic Recipes" brand.
The copyright to the cookbooks.
The Squidoo Lens at http://www.squidoo.com/dog-recipes (has generated 185 visits to Dog and Cat food site in last year.)
A written but not distributed 718 word article about cat food & nutrition that you can call your own.

I have only been selling the Dog and Cat food cookbooks and that generated $249.00 this past year without any promotion and I've earned $100 in affiliate fees selling dog and cat related items.  I had stopped selling the other cookbooks for lack of time but the site is now setup and ready to go.  Both sites can generate income from advertising and Google Adwords if the new owner is interested.

I have marketed the sites with articles, press releases, social bookmarking, etc.  All those links will continue to point to the two sites.

I am keeping the reserve very low on this auction because I want these two sites to go to a new owner who will have time to promote them.

Revenue Details

The total combined revenue from these two sites (when both sites were up and being promoted a little) was $60.00 a month.  I did some promotion and also used affiliate programs but honestly my time was tied up elsewhere so the money making potential was never realized.

Traffic Details

The Fifty Fantastic Recipes site was down for a while but is now up and active.  It has a little traffic.  The Dog and Cat Food Site gets 1,300 visits a month.

   I was wondering what your hosting fees are for both sites you are selling. I would be more interested in the pet website. If I purchase a site I would probably purchase both sites from you.

   I don't have any hosting fees for either site. Both of them are add-on sites to my main business site. With JustHost you can add as many add-on domains for free.

   Hi This website is not unique is it? I think you own dogsworldwide.com which is very similar.

   The content is unique but the Wordpress design is a free template used by other sites. I don't own dogsworldwide.com. The only pet site I own is this one.

   I've added a Buy It Now price based on 10 months of income from the two sites just in case someone wants to grab these sites and the custom e-books.

   Seems to be copyright issues (around 10 copies). Could you confirm yours are original and the rest of sites copied on you? Did you claim them as breaching copyright?

   Those are my advertisements and press releases I wrote about the site. There aren't any copyright issues since all of those ads and press releases belong to me.
