Description

MINIMALISMI.COM , one of the HOTTEST + FASTEST GROWING Architecture & Design websites on the Web is FOR SALE!!!

MINIMALISMI is a web magazine dedicated to minimalist industrial and interior design, architecture, concepts and technology. Founded in 2009 in Milan, Italy with a clear goal of bringing the fresh and the exclusive from Italy and around the world to its international visitors, Minimalismi offers companies, freelancers and students equal opportunities to reach their audience, no matter who or where they are.

Minimalismi.com has been online for only six months, since late April 2009 (Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2009 in Milan, Italy) and is already considered by many to be one of the top 10 architecture & design blogs on the Web!

Minimalismi is the ONLY architecture & design website focused exclusively on minimalism in its most recognizable forms: minimalist architecture, and minimalist interior and industrial design.

Minimalismi is plural for minimalism in Italian and many more widely spoken languages throughout the world. Therefore, you'll be getting a short, meaningful, and, most of all, easy to remember domain name.

What you would be getting:

  • 7 months worth of highest quality content (please try to understand that the real value of this kind of website lies in the content and the visitors' trust)
  • Expensive domain name: www.minimalismi.com
  • Professionally designed and SEO optimized website
  • 567 days worth of hosting (as of September 14; UNLIMITED disk space and bandwidth!!! ).

- Architecture & Design News Portal/Blog
- Architecture & Design Job Board (NEW!!!)

Moreover, anything posted on the website (news articles or job adverts) gets automatically forwarded to:

  • ~500 RSS readers + Newsletter subscribers (as of December 15; NEW!!! )
  • ~300 Facebook fans (as of December 15; NEW!!! )
  • ~3200 Twitter followers! (as of December 15)

We'll also give you:

  • We'll continue to run the website for another 5 days after the purchase date (weekends included; this should give you more than enough time for any necessary "takeover" preparations on your side)
  • + FULL support from our tech team during the takeover period (with detailed instructions on how to run the blog and maintain the content quality)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although we're currently not accepting any advertising deals (due to this auction), we do have a number of active ones on the website at the moment. By purchasing the website you agree not to remove any of the banners (Google Adsense code will be removed immediately after purchase) until February 20 (you're free to renegotiate these deals with our existing partners after the expiration date). Moreover, we keep the right to cancel any running deals during the takeover period (5 days).

For more info, please, don't hesitate to contact us.

Any other recurring costs? For instance, do you pay someone to write the blogs?

And another question. Why are you selling?

No other costs. The largest investment was the initial one, as the development expenses were quite high (design + programming (a lot of automation)), but it was a one time thing.

Writing an article basically boils down to creating the lead image/paragraph (the part before the "MORE" link). The rest of the post (text, pictures) comes from official press releases (all you need to do is resize the images and copy/paste some text; this is what most A&D blogs do). It's a 15-25 min. process (we do it once a day, Monday to Friday).

We'll be focusing on (the development of) another (much larger) project this winter. The original plan was to merge it with Minimalismi as it will also be architecture & design related. However, we lack the manpower to handle both websites at the moment.

    1) I've uploaded a screenshot of a PayPal receipt for a single payment. This is the DP widget which is still in our sidebar.

    2) We receive payments via PayPal or bank transfer.

    3) No, we don't purchase traffic.

    4) The only maintenance cost is $4, for hosting. However, with the website, you get whatever's left of our (unlimited) hosting plan (expires in 487 days, as of today).

    5) Job Board - this is a new feature - you can expect this to be the website's main source of profit after proper advertising -- You could earn $50 - $100 per job advert!)

    6) Check your inbox. The offer will be valid for the next 48h.

what are the main sources of press releases & do they permit reposting without a linkback?

what automation has been put in place?

The sources are mostly online design and architecture magazines. Due to the nature of the material, most of the time, one should obtain copyright permissions from the authors before publishing anything (not necessary, but recommended; we'll instruct the buyer how to do this easily). Once you obtain the copyright from the author, you don't need to link back to the source where you saw the work.

    Automation:
    - thumbnails
    - custom RSS feed
    - newsletter generation
    - forwarding to Twitter (with appropriate tag)
    - forwarding to Facebook
    etc.

The screenshot shows the Designerpages widget payment of $1000 for 5 months. It was made in May. Was the contract renewed under the same terms in October?

Actually, it was extended until the end of the year, for free. You're free to renegotiate the deal in January.

Is Stumbleupon submission automated? You get a lot of traffic from that channel.

No, it's not. We get traffic bursts from StumbleUpon every now and then (mostly thanks to the articles about luxurious homes and concept designs).
