Each visitor to the AcaiAdvisors was worth  $1.57 in September.  I’m not paying for any of the traffic, so it’s all profit.

Why on earth would I sell this?

Honestly, the money is easy and I’m going to be sad to see this one go.  So you’re probably wondering why in the heck I’d sell this.  I’m not gonna give you some song and dance about how I’m bored with the site.  I’m really not.  However, I do need to cash out of the site. 

I was planning on keeping these sites around indefinitely and just earning the cash it brings in every month, but my financial situation has changed dramatically and now I gotta sell.  

So we both benefit,  I get a much needed cash infusion, you get a great earning network of websites.

Traffic… Where does it come from?

Okay, so this is one of those rare times where I’ll sell a site that isn’t indexed in Google.  I’m not quite sure why, but back when I first put this site up, I managed to get it deindexed within a month.

That means no organic Google traffic for the time being on that site.  However, Google will frequently put a site back in its index after a change of ownership if you ask them to provided there aren’t any shenanigans going on (there aren’t).   There are no guarantees of course, but I’ll be happy to explain the entire process to the new owner.    And honestly, you don’t need to be listed in Google to do well with this site.

So let’s get back to the traffic… where is it coming from?  86% of the traffic to AcaiAdvisors.com is direct traffic meaning people are typing in the domain.   Basically, read that as traffic coming from video sites and podcasting sites.  I’ve done a bunch of videos (that you get the rights to) that bring in visitors already presold on the idea of getting an acai supplement.  That’s why the visitor value is so high on this site. 

For the other sites, a lot of the traffic comes from videos, a lot from Bing and some from Google.

I don’t pay for any traffic to this site.  All traffic comes from free sources.

Videos

So let’s talk about these videos, you’ll notice I’ve got quite a few of them posted on the site. I’ll send you all the originals if you’d like them, and you’ll get all the rights to the videos.  

Since I never planned to break it out this site individually and sell it, the Youtube account where the videos currently are currently being streamed is not included.  I will leave all the videos exactly as they are now so you’ll still get that traffic and won’t have to make any changes on the site. 

If you’d prefer to get that in writing, just let me know and I’ll sign a contract saying that the videos need to stay up on my account.

The videos drive the majority of the traffic to the site due to the fact they’ve been distributed to several different video sites and podcasting sites. 

Future Potential

While I sell sites based on history and proven results, this site has only scratched the surface of what it could do.  I’ll let you check for yourself, but go take a look at the amount of people searching for various “acai” products.  Back when I first started with these sites, my target was $1,000 per day…  Obviously, I didn’t get anywhere close, but the potential is definitely there if you take some time to work on it to take it to that next level. 

Monetization

I’ve only ever run CPA offers on this site.  The current offer is paying $40/free trial, and the one it’s currently running is available on quite a few CPA offers and has been around a while.  That’s one of the things I’ve learned over the past year of trying to make money in the acai niche – there are a lot of fly by night operations.  However, the current offer has been around for at least a year and seems like it’ll stick around.  And if not, there will always be one to take its place.

If you don’t have any CPA accounts with acai offers (or this one in particular), I’ll happily make the referral for you to get into the network I’m currently using. 

Time Required To Run This Site

I made some videos at the beginning of September, and then let it run.  Probably spent about 6 hrs or so on them.   That was all I did other than change one of the banners on the blog for the month.  

In July and August I did spend a decent amount of time working on the sites.  I completely rebuilt AcaiAdvisors from a one page site to a complete blog.    It all runs on Wordpress now (Hybrid Theme) so it’s super easy to manage and make changes and the current theme gives you a lot of flexibility to change the site to your liking.  The other sites got revamped in July in an attempt to get better conversions.

I’d recommend sticking a little time into this site each month to keep the targeted traffic rolling in if you’d like the revenue numbers to stay the same or go up, but if you’d rather just let it do its thing and not spend any time on it, you could probably get away with that and still make money each month.

To keep it performing well, I’d probably expect to spend at least a couple hours on it a month and a few more if you want to increase the revenue.   

Transfer, Support, Etc

I’ll do my best to make the transfer as easy as possible – most of the sites will be a piece of cake to transfer, but in case you don’t know how to transfer a blog, I’ll be happy to do it for you.  I’ll be around to help you out after the sale, so if you have any questions you need answered or advice on taking the websitse forward, you’ll get it. 

When it comes to selling websites, I don’t sell a lot of them.  And when I do, I don’t sell junk.  You’re getting websites that I genuinely believe will continue to perform just as well or better for you than they have for me.
