I think it's primarily because the main blogger, Jodee, who was being paid to blog, stopped blogging on Oct 2nd.

How much were you paying for her to write, and why did she leave?

I co-own the site. The person I co-own the site with was paying Jodee, and I believe he was paying her $100 a month, but I need to confirm this with him. He let Jodee go because one of his other business ventures ran into financial problems and so to save money he let her go. This is one of the reasons we want to sell the site.

I did confirm with the co-owner that Jodee was earning a $100 a month.

Do you have any idea if Jodee would be willing to blog again for the new owner?
Also what are the hosting requirements and expenses?

I'm pretty certain that Jodee would want to continue to blog, as she did not quit, but rather was let go, because my co-owner cut back on expenses. If you're really interested in the site, I could have my co-owner contact her for you to make sure. There are always a lot of people you can find who want to blog for a celebrity site.
I believe that my co-owner hosts Glamorati.com on a dedicated server, which is relatively expensive. I don't think this is necessary, at least at its current level of traffic. He does this because he hosts other larger sites on this dedicated server, and adding Glamorati did not cost extra. Hosting with a place like Hostgator is about $8 a month, and I think they are excellent. If you run any sort of contest, then that would be an expense. We once ran a contest for funny headlines, and the prize was $500. We got hundreds of entries, and a lot of traffic from this. Other than that there are no other expenses.
One other thing, as of right now, no one is contributing headlines to the site. You or your blogger would have to do this if you want the headline page to stay current.

If you're interested in getting more quick revenue from the site, I'd suggest using Linkworth. You should be able to get another $50 a month using them.
