Description

The original WordPress blog installation service. http://www.NinjaBlogSetup.com/

Ninja Blog Setup is a well established and recognized brand and receives many word of mouth and referral clients to compliment very high search engine rankings.

Currently the average blog setup takes me under 30 minutes to install, with a commission fee of anywhere between $60 to $100.

Reason for Selling

The fact is that I am an affiliate marketer. I had the idea for this site as a way to increase affiliate commissions from hosting companies. But I have never really been able to provide the additional services that my clients would like.

As a marketer, I am not really service orientated, so I think this business would be better suited to an existing service business already able to handle a broader spectrum of client needs.

Assets Included in Sale

YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/NinjaBlogSetup (51 Subscribers)

List of Clients (aweber): 254

List of Leads that Signed up for "tips": 304

Complete website and domain name

Detailed process description of every step to setup a blog like Ninja (perfect for giving to an outsourcer)

Email template to send to clients once blog is setup with full list of instructions on how to get started, video tour of WordPress and resources for getting help (cuts down on support requests dramatically).

Some Adwords ads and keywords (over a year ago, I was bidding on "wordpress hosting" but Google banned using the word "wordpress" so I stopped, but there is still an opportunity there if you have good Adwords skills.

Misc videos used as instructions, orientation for new bloggers.

Gmail account with full history of setups, support questions and canned responses for all common support questions - makes 95% of emails a snap to answer.

Potential for Growth

Setup promotions to your leads and clients. A lot of my clients purchase custom themes, but I have been too busy to do a proper promotion to my lists.

Also, many of the clients and leads are interested in affiliate marketing, so if you can do a well done review of products like Market Samurai or any of the 100s of other products to help affiliates, I'm sure you could do well.

Many clients also use autoresponders so promoting Aweber would do well I'm sure.

Automation: everything from setting up the blogs using macros, to automating responses to emails could eliminate much of the manual work in the process.

Recruit more affiliates. Once the process is streamlined, setting up a proper affiliate program (I currently pay out 15% to only one affiliate) could dramatically grow the business. I have been approached many times, but due to time restrictions, have not gone forward.

Use the blog to promote related products. The site has good page rank and ranks well, it would also do well for related product reviews and product recommendations.

Promote the site using videos. The few videos that I have done have brought in quite a bit of traffic, seems like there are a lot of people searching for WordPress tips on video

    Hi.

How much time do you spend on this yourself and how much do you outsource. How much does outsourcing cost you? Thanks.

Currently about 5 minutes a day answering 1 or 2 emails, the probably about 30 minutes doing a blog setup every 2 or 3 days. Right now I have the blog setup procedure so efficient that I don't outsource them any more, it is almost easier just to do them myself.

When I go on vacation or get busy, I was paying $15 per blog setup, but I believe it could be done for much less as it takes less time now than it used to.

Do you plan to transfer the existing affiliate accounts that owe you money, or would we be starting over with setting up our own accounts with each host?

Also, is the person you outsourced the blog setup to available to assist the new owner?

No, you'll need to setup your own accounts and swap out the links as soon as you take possession of the site.

Probably, but I haven't had him do any setups for me for a 3 or 4 months. I felt that $15 for 30 minutes work was way too much, but he was a good worker and trustworthy. I'll certainly put him touch with the new buyer if you'd like.

I noticed in your GA report that your top keyword phrase was "wordpress installation service" and in September you ranked number one. However, now I don't see the site anywhere for that keyword. Any idea what happened?

@incognito, the site was #1 for that term when I listed the auction 3 days ago. Remember that search results are dynamic, since this auction is now showing in the top 30 for that phrase, if I had to guess, I'd say it is some kind of update by Google in response to this auction and the links that I have built to promote this listing.

I fully expect that by the time the auction is over, or even sooner the serps should be back to "normal". I have been in the #1 or 2 position for that term for over 18 months, but it does happen that things change for short periods of time.

I'm not sure if you can tell from your stats, but do you have any idea what % of sales came from that keyword phrase? I would think that phrase brought a highly targeted and motivated customer.

I uploaded a new graphic to show signups by keyword. You'll see that keyword, while it bring in a lot of traffic, is not even one of the top ones for revenue in the past 30 days.

Like I said previously, I expect that result to come back, Google rankings are always in flux. The other keyword rankings have not dropped, so I'm certain it is a temporary issue being caused by the fact that I promoted this auction using that term in the title.
