Description
The core of this social network is phpfox. It has been completely re-skinned in all areas of the site. So looks totally unique.
It has many purchased modifications to enhance the core phpfox features, including friends feed, gifts, e-store, relationships, arcade, interactions (facebook pokes), daily horoscopes and others.
The unique custom-built features include the totally unique game "snog marry or avoid". Nothing like this game exists anywhere else on the net. Members to the site are entered into the "snog marry avoid" game rotation and stats for their ratings are displayed in their accounts.
It has a custom-built login & sign-up routine totally redeveloped from the original phpfox to give a "stepped" sign-up form, like Bebo uses.
It has custom integration of a games channel, meaning the site has not only an internal arcade to promote interactivity but also a games channel that links people with players on other sites.
The site has its own currency "gold". Members get points for things they do on the site, which is all added to a balance in their profiles. They can then spend this on virtual gifts in the e-store. The currency is controlled via a custom built feature in admin that checks balances and highlights sudden gains, allows addin and taking away ofpoints etc etc. Potential for this feature is open ended.
Not switched on at present, but in the site is also a forum and classifieds functionality, as well as functionality to turn on music playing and uploading in accounts.

The reason for its sale is that I have another project which is taking up my working week, and I simply cannot devote the time to rowing it further.

On purchase the site will be delivered as a cpanel account backup file, allowing you to install it complete and in one step on a new cpanel installation. I will also supply a print out of the php/server specs so you can easily see what is required and request it from your webhost. You WILL need non-shared hosting to get this site running fast and do it justice.

The draw of the unique game "snog marry avoid (which currently gets over 1500 "plays" per day) is another monetization possibility I have not had time to explore.

gasboi - it uses smarty templates so is fully skinnable. Its easy to add new features by paying a developer to make new ones I suppose - no idea what you are asking to be honest. No idea if an api can be added - these are really questions for a php developer.
