Reason for sale
Commenters and community have grown, and we have less and less time to manage and moderate the community. Currently we have disabled the comments.
Source of articles
Experts in the WBV have contributed articles and guest posts. Some posts we have written ourselves. Articles are posted once per week.
Overall
It's a good site with a lot of potential, in a growing and emerging market. Looking for a quick sale here so we can get on with other projects.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A RELIST. We had to cancel the last auction is the primary contributor to the site decided they did not want their articles included in the site. Unfortunately this accounted for 68 out of about 100 articles - so we had to delete the articles.
Therefore the value of the site has been severely reduced. However the homepage still ranks highly, and there are still 30 unique articles on the site.
Revenue Details
- Google Adsense - Averaged $20.24 per day over the last 18 months, and $30.67 over the last month. Due to the fact that Whole Body Vibration machines are a high margin item, EPC and eCPMs are high for this niche (around 50-60 cents per click). Averages for last 6 months is ~$800 per month.
- Direct Advertising - over the last 3 months we have initiated 125x125 ads - these are sold at $200 per advert per month. We currently have 4 slots full (Totals $800 per month).
Please make sure you read the RELIST note above. The above earnings are not necessarily indicative of future earnings.

Reserve is now $500. There is no Buy it Now price.
will the current advert slots stay in place, or will they cancel that?
thanks
why are you accepting $500 if the site makes $1600 a month ?!?!?
is there a contact available for writing articles for the site and what is the cost?
so you lost your writer? and you do know if you take 68 artcles out the serps are going to drop like hotcakes? is there no way you can keep them arts? your site will derank easy with out them. i would bid but im scared of the damage the loss of 68 arts will do to your ranking
Just to clear things up: The reserve is $500 NOT the BIN.
Yes the site has been making $600+ per month for the last 18 months from Adsense.
The author of a number of articles chose to remove his articles when informed of the sale, and yes this will obviously affect things.
The 125x125 ads are monthly, and it will be up to the new buyer to continue with these advertisers - in all likelihood they will want to stay on.
I've attached an Adsense screen grab for this month. Earnings are at $946. Sorry I haven't been able to answer all the PMs.
Another screen grab showing Analytics traffic sources this month compared with last month. It shows an increase from SEs etc
UPDATE: I've just re-read over the email from the article writer. It seems he believes we're selling to an industry competitor - so did not want to be involved. He's written some great content, and I'm sure once convinced the new buyer is not an industry competitor he may be more than willing for his work to go back up.
For us the reason for selling is simple. We don't have the resources to manage this site and are keen to move onto other things.
can you tell us what is the website maintenance, i mean tasks and time spent daily/weekly ?
When you talk with the articler writer of the 68 posts, again, can you please ask him and then confirm to me that he will allow the articles to stay on the site?
And did you actually delete the articles? So you don't have them any more?
nunoribeiro: Only one article per week is posted - so this could be 2-3 hours. Outside of this just standard maintenance (moderation of comments, upgrading wordpress, tweaks to the theme). etc.
misel: I cannot confirm anything with the contributor except that he asked for his posts to be removed. That will be up to the new owner as to whether you wish to pursue this or not. We do of course have multiple backups of the database.
Hi again
Oh, I just thought that you would talk to him and find out if the new owner of the site, may keep his articles on the site, because you wrote that you "misunderstood" his email in the first place!?
But just to clarify things, you will not contact the 68 posts contributer before the auction ends? So the new owner will actually buy the site without 70% of the original content...
To be honest I think it would be great if you just wrote that little email to him, and explained it one more time to clear up the "industry competitor" misunderstanding. And then ask him about if he stills want his articles removed.
Then you would without doubt get higher bids. But now, I am personally afraid what the removal of the 68 articles will mean to the site and the site earnings. So therefore I am afraid to bid further on.
Thank you
misel: As stated above the site is AS IS. 68 articles have been removed at the contributors request. How this will affect SERPS rankings? I don't know. However, at the least, the new buyer could create article 'stubs' to prevent crawlers getting 404s. The articles could then be fleshed out.
ALSO: Adsense June added.
BIN added.
