Description

I am selling this top earning employment website in order to raise immediate funds for a new business project and to pay 2008 taxes.

The Website was established in December of 2006 and in February 2008 I decided to develop this site to enter the employment/career referral market.

The employment/career category has seen an explosion in activity, due to the current economic situation in the United States, and shows no signs of slowing down as companies continue to layoff workers every month.

Through our affiliations we connect our visitors with businesses offering new jobs, both part-time and full-time. New job seekers have access to more than 100,000 active new job listings from top employers across the country.

Using a formula that I created, which consisted of only using free sources of advertising, I was able to quickly build the traffic and generate targeted traffic with high conversion rates. Since this site only contains pay per lead affiliations, conversion rates are high because visitors never have to buy anything.

I was able to make a lot of money in a short period of time and used that money to fuel other business projects. Around October of 2008, my other businesses really started booming and took all of my attention away from this website. I stopped working the formula and moved on to my other projects that I had started.

We have successfully created a dynamic revenue producing site in a booming market, but we have done virtually no SEO work! It was outside the realms of our in-house expertise, so we chose to concentrate on what we know best, i.e. advertising. With professional SEO knowledge, you open up a stream of endless and virtually free targeted traffic.

January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 stats include:

387,563 Visits

333,486 Absolute Unique Visitors

484,797 Pageviews

1.25 Average Pageviews per visit

2008 Gross Earnings =  $54,832.09

Average Monthly Revenue =              $4,569.34

Average Monthly Expenses =           -$1,051.95 ($1,040 Advertising, $11.95 Hosting)

Average Monthly Net Profit =           $3,517.39

This simple website was made specifically to make money in a very profitable market.

The winning bidder will also receive a comprehensive 3-page guide containing the elements used to generate and maintain the revenue, as well as 3rd party affiliate codes, and marketing tips.

This is a great opportunity for someone to acquire a very profitable web business in a booming market segment and continue to grow it into a $100k - $250k a year automatic revenue generator.

Please note: We need the money now, but are not going to give the business away!

But you can walk away with a business that can put a profit in your pocket immediate if you take advantage of this auction.

Payments accepted in the form of electronic transfer or www.escrow.com .

Good Luck, and thanks for viewing our auction!

I see you had a huge drop in UV since around October 2008, probably coincides with what you mention above? From what i can see your only pulling in around 300 UV a month... Wow that is way low... I would need some reassurance that the site could pull back the traffic it once had before I placed a bid.... You should really think about selling it as is, and not was....

    Hello jontattoo.

You're right, the drop in UV was a result of what was mentioned above. Let me shed a little more light on that...

The only marketing that I had in place for this sight was advertising mainly free through daily postings on job boards and free classified sites. So when I stopped advertising because I simply did not have time to devote to the site, there was no lingering effects of my marketing efforts.

I was able to successfully create a good revenue producing site in a booming market, but had done virtually no SEO work! It was outside the realms of my expertise, so I chose to concentrate on what we knew best, i.e. advertising.

With professional SEO knowledge, you would open up a stream of endless and virtually free targeted traffic in addition to putting back in place my advertising marketing plan which now can be outsourced. I actually think that with these in place, the traffic would be even greater than 2008 because ther are substantially more people looking for jobs today versus last year at this time.

Thanks for your comments. You bring up some very valid issues that needed explaining.

I appreciate the reply. However, I'm still not convinced that this would be a golden oppurtunity. As a somewhat seo expert myself, I can tell you right now it takes a hell of alot of work and time, and quite frankly would be much easier and cheaper to develop a site like yours from scratch. For starters the domain (tigercrane) will do no justice as far as seo is concerned. I'm really only interested in sites that are established (meaning steady traffic) and have at least 1 google rank. Sorry, but good luck!

I appreciate your comments, and you have a right to your opinion. This opportunity may not be the right one for you.

I do not have to "convince" anyone that this is a "golden opportunity" because the website, when it was being promoted, acheived a great amount of targeted traffic, and produced a good "steady" revenue stream which to me was more important than the google rank or the actual domain name. (Stats are Provided)

Using the same marketing plan that I put in place last year around this time, someone can spend less than 2 hours a week and net $3,500 or more a month virtually on auto pilot within 30 - 45 days.

If I did not have this tax burden due in April, I wouldn't sell it. Especially since I have learned how to outsource the most time consuming part (advertising) and still make a healthy profit. I just do not have the time to get it back to where it was.

One thing is for sure... a lot people in the USA need and are searching for jobs today as we speak.

Thanks again, and I hope you find a site that is more suited to your needs.

    Ok, I am missing something:

You say free advertisement but you also say:
    Average Monthly Expenses = -$1,051.95 ($1,040 Advertising, $11.95 Hosting)

What are these types of expenses?

    Thanks

    I'm sorry for the confusion.

I should have labeled this line as:

Average Monthly Expenses = -$1,051.95 ($1,040 Advertising Outsource Fees, $11.95 Hosting)

I use to place all of the advertising manually myself on the various free job boards and free classified advertising sites. That was why it was so time consuming (about 4-5 hours a day) and when my other business ventures started taking off I did not have time to dedicate to doing that everyday.

After exploring getting this site back going, I found companies that I could outsource the same daily advertising posting tasks that I did manually for an average of about $260/week which is about $1,040/month.

If someone has the 4-5 hours a day to do what I used to do that money could go to their bottom line. But for about 20% of what the site was grossing, they could outsource this part and eventually have this site running almost on autopilot.

So to summarize: The actual advertising is free, but the service to place the numerous ads, if you choose not to do it yourself, would run about $1,040 a month.

Thanks, and sorry again for the confusion.

Hello to all who have PM'd me and asked questions and comments about this auction.

After much thought and input from potential buyers, I have decided to take the advice of you all and lower the starting bid to $5000.

I agree that since I have done nothing with the site since October of last year, it would only be fair to value the site based on such. ( I should have sold it lat November :) )

Even though a reserve price is required, I will honor the offer of the highest bidder and allow the deal to take place regarless of whether or not the reserve price is met.

Thanks to all for your great input.

    Hello all.

As the auction winds down, I have decided to include in the sale the following
domains that I had parked in my 1&1 account that are job related.

    tigercranejobs.com
    tclocaljobs.com
    tcnetcareers.com

    jobclimber.org
    jobznet.org

    employmentcaddy.biz
    fulltimeemployers.biz
    jobfindernow.biz
    jobcaddy.biz

The domains are seasoned. They were registered in 2007 and 2008.

I have redirected each to point to tigercrane.us

There may be some SEO opportunities with these domains.

    Good Luck.
