Description

Name of the e-book: You Stay Home
e-mail address: www.YouStayHome.com
Price of the e-book: $29.00

I use Paydotcom/Paypal as a merchant. I just learned that I don’t need to use Paydotcom, I may use Paypal only, so the only deduction from the $29.00 will be $1.14 fee to Paypal for every sale, which means $27.86 profit per e-book.

The Domain is hosted in Yahoo.

The site requires no management at all.

The site contains 45 pages, from which 30 pages are 30 original articles written by me.

Those articles were submitted to a few articles directories, from which I get most of my traffic. So the website is basically in autopilot at this moment.

The Domain was purchased on July 13 2008, but I only started promoting the e-book when I submitted the articles like about 4 months ago, and the sales keep increasing every single week. The monthly sales have been increasing from $145.00 to $580.00 for the month of December, and increasing every week. The sales for the last 10 days are: 24 sales which is 2.4 sales a day or 72 sales a month. 72 sales a month total $2,088.00. I got zero expenses.

The main page is ranking 1 in Google. The site has not been promoted using PPC or SEO, but accidentally is showing in the first page of Google for the phrase “LEARN HOW TO AVOID FORECLOSURE” which is the name of the page and for youstayhome which is the name of the e-book.

I’m not getting much traffic since the site is just being promoted by article submission but the conversions are extremely high, 35% of my visitors buy the e-book, if you see the yahoo stats... Someone who knows SEO or PPC can really put this website to produce great income.

The returns are minimal; basically just 1 return so far, since the first sale.

I wrote the entire book myself, it’s not a plr e-book. It is unique, as well as the website.

Full resale rights for the e-book are included with the website. You may do anything you want with the e-book; edit the content, change the price, add your name as co-writer, etc., but you may not remove my name as a writer of the e-book, because I’m trying to brand my name as an author.

Reason for sale? I don’t know how to do SEO or PPC, I’m basically a writer that’s what I enjoy doing. I tried PPC when I started and I was “wiped out”

I’m currently writing 2 more e-books, so I will write the e-books, create the sites, and I will let somebody else promote the sites.

A 35% conversion rate on your current sales page? That's way too good. Industry average is 2~3% conversion rate. Well good work on this.

Ok...I will appreciate if you guys stop sending me stupid, ridiculous private messages… somebody, warned me about the kind of people which hang around this site…. Now I see… Here is the deal; I’m making about $150.00 a day on auto pilot in this site, that’s over $4,000 a month without SEO…. Now I found somebody who could do SEO and maybe duplicate what I’m making now, in a joint venture… This is what I’m going to do; I’m going to leave the site for 2 more days, if you are not interested, don’t ask stupid questions, just walk away, if the site doesn’t sale in 2 days, maybe is fate, I’m gonna keep it, and start doing SEO… If you don’t like what I’m saying here, just go away…

    I am very interested..
How do you manage to decide the keywords for the site, or was it discovered by accident? and do you write the sales page yourself? What have you outsourced?

Sorry; no more free copies of the e-book. What would you do if I was selling an affiliate e-book from clickbank? Do that….

Man this is crazy. Your alexa is lower than 1,000,000 which means you got only 4-5 visitors per day, maybe even less. How can you make money with that kind of traffic?

These are the facts: I don't care about "Alexa" or "Google Analytics", I'm nailing between 4 to 5 sales every single day; $29.00 @ sale, with just 30 articles that I once submitted...That means over $4,000.00 @ month; no SEO or Adwords... since I won't sale this site for less than $20,000, I see I'm keeping this site...I already started SEO....I will make minimum $8,000.00 to $10,000.00@ month easily... Looks like everyone who gets to my sales page ends up buying my book... About the traffic; I think, Yahoo is not that accurate, because today I realized that just from e-zine I'm getting over 10 visitors every day... I'm raising the reserve price to $20,000.00, If you are not willing to pay that kind of money, please don't message me... save your time and my time...
