Description
This website/business generates $325 a month minimum income and over the last year has earned me approximately $6,000. This is only one of a few ways I make money online. If I had focused on this part more I could have made perhaps 10 times that amount.
There are three parts to this auction:
1. Website: VideosMarketing.com
This is a top quality domain name and is worth a good deal of money by itself. The keyword phrase 'videos marketing' gets searched thousands of times per month according to the Google keyword tool. This phrase also gets 61 MILLION search results! The singular version of the phrase gets searched even more. This is a growing niche and this trend of searches will continue to grow also.
The site can be optimized much better to take avantage of this. If you do a little work on seo you can get a lot more traffic to the site.
Right now the site gets about 1100 uniques a month.
This sale includes the rights to keep showing the videos on the homepage.
What I planned to do and should have done a long time ago was to put an optin form for a newsletter or free product on the site to build a list. You can start doing this right away.
The website is fairly basic and can be improved in various ways. As a website buyer, that's what you are looking for isn't it? Something that can be improved and this site definately can be renovated and greatly improved.
Again, the stengths of the website itself are the domain, the great niche and the right to keep using the videos on the site.
2. The business part of this includes a client I have had for the last year. This client is super easy to work with and the videos you would be making for him every month are pretty simple to make. I have a system to make them that I can show you easily ( see number 3 below ).
The client needs two one minute videos every month and he pays $325. The work involved includes writing the text script for the videos, paying a voice over talent to do the VO ( you could do this yourself if you have a good voice), then mixing the voice over with royalty free photos and videos. Then you convert the files to flv and send two sets of files to the client.
The voice over guy I use now for this client is great to work with and is very inexpensive.
3. Training. I will give you training on how I make these videos and tell you as much as I know. I'll tell you what software you need and where to get it. I'll talk to you over the phone, skype or IM depending on where you live. Basically, you'll need an editing software such as Windows Movie Maker, which many computers come with nowdays. That's the editor I know and use, so if you have that it will help greatly. If you have other editing software and know how to use it that will work also. Preferably I would like to have the buyer use WMM since that is what I am familiar with.
There's a few other pieces of software you will need. A couple of them are free and I believe one costs a small amount. ( less than $100)
I will train you to make these videos for two months after purchase of this website video business. Besides talking on the phone and walking you through certain parts, we can communicate by email.
I'll also show you where I buy royalty free media. Plus, a way to get the royalty free media for free sometimes.
This training is worth the price I am asking for this site alone I feel, but you also get the client and website along with it.
This is a very lucrative business. I have been charging $499 for a two minute video with voice over. That is actually fairly low for this service. I know others who charge well over $1,000 for a two minute sales page video. You have to work to improve before getting to this level but it can be done pretty quickly.
You can seriously make six figures with a year if you really work this. You can go beyond what I show you, buy new software, take classes at local colleges and just keep improving.
Part of the training will also be a way simple to find new customers.
I will also give you the names and contact info for the voice over talent I use. They are very good at what they do and have different prices levels.
This is a great business and if you like the idea of making money by making videos, this is the best deal you'll find for this niche.

Revenue Details

Traffic Details
Traffic comes mainly from direct addres/ bookmarks and links from a few other sites. The traffic can be greatly improved with some seo work and a list could be built to really take advantage of the traffic.

I could think of a number of ways to promote this service easily and that would be more interesting. Imagination is needed, patience to do the work, being able to work independently and one with a history of innovation. I would predict at least six months out to see the light in a long and lasting business with this opportunity.

Well, it depends on what type of video you make. The one customer I am selling along with this site requiers about $35 to $40 each month. Most of that is for the voice over guy and a little on the images. Now, some voice over guys are more expensive. I have one guy who charges $125 for two minutes. Then again you can do voice overs yourself or don't even use voiceovers. Some customers just want music. You can give the customers the option with the non voiceover the lower price.
I will show the buyer ways to get new customers. You will be amazed at the money you can make with videos. Plus, there's ways to make money from videos where you don't have to pay any money for voice overs or use stock images/videos.
The site itself can be used to offer a wide range of services. It's a great name for a membership site for video marketers. I have a lot of ideas for this site but the problem is I have too many ideas and projects.

Once made, how easily can they be made a part of a website. For example, I still unfortunately work with Microsoft Publisher. Therefore, every detail input is made with a what you see is what you get once loaded. Another example is when I input a paypal icon, I simply open a html box, insert the code and upload, done and it shows. Easy! I just learned my websites on Godaddy.com are Windows operated. After buying another site here just a few weeks ago as an experiment, to see how the process goes, it turns out they cannot transfer the site because I do not have something called linus or linex operated system, so they agreed to provide free hosting along with the site. Things like that can be an issues with the ease of doing the work of video marketing come to mind and can make one hestitate. No question one needs not only imagination, but a little technical savvyness would you not think. Thanks for being there. I am seriously consider this offer as you appear to be extremely helpful. Aside Note: the blog idea is a great addition.

If the video is encoded to a flv file then you will need a flv player. There are free players and paid ones. I usually leave that up to the client. I just provide them with the files. Usually I provide the client with a flv and a wmv file. Some clients are fine using youtube to play the video on their site. Enbedding a youtube video is as simple as copying and pasting a code.
I would be surprised if you couldn't transfer this site to your godaddy account. However if you can't I could host it for you for a small monthly fee of say $4.99. Or I would suggest getting another hosting account with a company like hostgator.
