Description

About the site

This is the real deal, a content website built on a Wordpress platform making good money with organic traffic. No work is needed to keep it up, I do however recommend that the buyer add an article every 1-4 weeks to keep the site fresh and current.

The site is a family friendly niche site for a popular and quite expensive product – each purchase is $600+ for the main product. I am only monetizing this through Adsense; I have not tried any affiliate programs on this site but I am sure the buyer could make good money on affiliate sales as well.

The site has 97 published articles plus 5 articles in queue to be posted through December, all content is written exclusively for this site and passed Copyscape when I published it.

The articles I used are all from our own content provider: www.frontpagecontent.com

The domain is a Google PR2 www.keyword-keyword.com domain, it was registered on July 17 – 2007 and the first Adsense impression was July 19 – 2007

The domain is paid up until July 17 – 2009

Why are you selling and how much do you want?

I am simply moving on to another and much bigger project which will cost a lot of money to start up, so I am liquidating some of my assets to pay for this venture.

I am looking for minimum 1 year income based on the income from November...

Buyer will need own hosting, I can help moving the site if needed.

Bonus if the bidding is above 18 months income (based on Nov 2008)

If the winning bid is above $11,160 then I will throw in 104 extra 400+ word articles for the site and set them up in Wordpress to auto publish an article every week, which means you are fully covered on for the next 2 years and you can just sit back and enjoy the boost in your AdSense account without having to touch anything.

Revenue Details

Income – Show me the money!

Adsense income October was $573.97 – meaning an average of $18.52 per day.

Adsense income November was $619.32 – meaning an average of $20.65 per day.

Traffic Details

Where is all this wonderful traffic coming from?

I have no PPC advertising going to the site and no monthly advertising expenses, all traffic is organic.

Promotion was done by directories, article directories, blog comments, I also bought a few cheap blogroll links in the last 3-4 months which are good for a year (from date of purchase)…

The site is successfully targeting a very high number of both regular keyphrases and longtails – Out of 7252 visitors sent by various search engines in October Google was responsible for the 4847 visitors.

Search engines sent 9068 visitors in November, 5903 from Google which shows the site is still climbing fast. The site sits on a huge list of longtail keyphrases which shows in the awstats search keyphrase list – the 9068 search engine visitors found the site from 3381 different search phrases.

Alexa rank of 1.8 million but you still get nearly 8k uniques monthly? 250 visitors a day translates into 20 bucks a day?

Can you please verify site access and phone.

Can you please post traffic details + screen shots + breakdown of keywords.

Can you please post adsense screenshots.

Why is Alexa rank so low? Or, should I say, high?

Alexa is in my experience quite unreliable.

As far as I know they only measure traffic from people using their toolbar, so I guess the demographic of people using my site is different from the ones using Alexa toolbar.

Your page eCPM is around $40? And your CTR is around 20% for adsense? Seems strangely high...

    Can you post keyword details?

Funny how some people rely so much on Alexa.

Can you show Adsense income, by month, for the last year? Or at least show the total for the last year? I know my sites have good months and bad months, so I'd be reluctant to make an offer based on two months' earnings.

    Thank you.

It looks like you have purchased more than just a "few" blog links. Did you do this all through one company or do you have to contact all of them individually? How much will it cost to re-up for the links when the year runs out?

    Hammerfall:

The site has been growing since it started as you can see on the AWstats screenshot.

Google Adsense has been steady on the eCPM.

It made $2415 from August 1 2008 until now.

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Madhornet:

No in fact I only purchased a few links here and there, I do not track these, I basically surf through all link offers daily on Digital Points buy and sell, and when I see cheap blog rolls for sale I buy one for the one of my sites it fits best. I never bother renewing the links as over a year I probably buy around 2-4 blog rolls per site I own and they overlap as I just make it part of my daily habbit to look for these cheap links. My guess is I have around 4 blog rolls purchased for this site.

The site is also linked from some of my other sites, I can leave these links up.

I have used a blog carnival service as well with good success.

I have done some blog commenting as well.

    -----------------------------------------------

    Another note:

Our content provider www.frontpagecontent.com is developing a new Wordpress plugin to fetch articles automatically from the content database, so adding content from them will be really easy once that plugin is finished.
