Description

After some long, hard thought, we have decided we're letting go of one of our main revenue sources so we can raise money to start a hosting business.

This website nets $700/month stable for the last 6 months. We get most of our profit from ShareIt.com affiliate program. You need to sign up at ShareIt.com as an affiliate to take advantage of this. We basically act as an affiliate for software products. As you all know, software is a BIG money niche with billions invested into this industry every month. ShareIt, provided by Digital River, is the LARGEST marketplace for software affiliate programs. Where Clickbank dominates for e-books, Digital River is for software.

The site's CMS is setup to accept banner advertising. Users can sign up for an account and publish their banners. Accounts are charged per click. Due to time constraints, we did not have a payment system setup for the banner advertising so there is no income coming from this for now. To setup the payment system, a little bit of coding work is required so we suggest you know how to setup Paypal coding, etc. Realistically, this could probably bring in an extra $100-$300/month based on current traffic levels.

Speaking of traffic, if you look at the screenshot, you will see our traffic is on an upward trend. The uniques and pageviews are growing every month. This doesn't have a significant impact on our affiliate income, but this can mean a lot if you change the advertising up. So if you setup the banner system above, you can make a lot of extra money due to the high traffic. Also, you can sign up for CPM (pay per pageview) ads to take advantage of our growing traffic. We tried signing up for CasaleMedia, but their form doesn't appear to be working.

Also, each registered software publisher can apply for a review of the software for a fee. You can set the fee to whatever you want, whether that be $50 or $100. This is a very competitive fee considering blogs charge much, much more for a review. Even one or two reviews can bring in good additional income each month. If you advertise the paid reviews better (i.e. put a paid review banner above the fold, etc.), you will get much more exposure for this service! HOWEVER, you need to setup the payment system (which we mentioned above) in order to utilize this.

This site can be run on a shared host so expenses are almost nothing.

With your purchase, you will get:

- Domain, transferred to your name for unlimited time

- Hosting, premium pack PRE-PAID for 2 years.

- CMS: Licensed for one domain indefinitely with one year of free updates

- Design Template: Licensed for unlimited time

- Software Database: Licensed for unlimited time

- Publishers Database (including emails): Licensed for unlimited time

We would also prefer Escrow.com for payment to protect both the buyer and seller in the transfer process, but we are open to options.

Please let me know if you have more questions. Thank you for viewing my auction, and I know the buyer will be very happy with this stable income source.

How does one run the site- what does one need to do to manage it on a day-to-day basis?

    How does one get paid?

How does one increase earnings and how much advertisement is needed to increase them? How is it updated and by whom? What is involved in updating it? What if there is downtime? How does one get it running again?

The f-download site is for publishers/developers who would like to advertise and popularize their software all over the Internet. Actually they can publish sw by themselves using appropriate form on site. For sure each day we take a look on newly published software. But this usually does not require much of moderation. May be 3-5 applications are filtered each week.

Regarding payments - we use several payment processors to get paid - Share It for affiliate payments, Kagi for account payments (users are charged for banner advertising published on our site, paid reviews of their software by admin, etc via Kagi - but this can be changed to PayPal as cheaper solution), and Google adWords sends cheques to us.

The earnings from site waves from month to month. The maximum earning was $1900 and the minimum - $300 monthly. But for now average earnings reach about $900-$1100 per months.

we did not expected down times with the site itself. For few days in year (12-48 hours per year) site may be not available, but just due to hosting maintenance and not to our site engine.

Updates on site are usually performed by software publisher - adding of new software. And we can publish articles/reviews related to software.

I believe I've provided enough information regarding site. If you need more clarifications, please kindly ask.

    Hi,

Actually that is our broker. We (I mean our company) started selling campaign a bit earlier and we posted this advertising. And then we were in touch with very good web site selling broker who offered to sell our site more effectively. But disadvantage of his offer is that he sells site more expensive. So, if you are willing to buy you can choose between 2 opportunities - this and that (more expensive). In fact you are buying the same site.

    Cheers,
    MaViNes ;)
