Purpose For Selling:

For those who don't know, my name is Garry Conn, a full time online publisher and Internet marketer. I build, maintain and own a little over 100 niche blogs that all generate a passive income using the various different make money online programs available such as Google AdSense, ClickBank and even Pepperjam Network.

Last month I accepted a challenge against John Cow to see who could build, set up and launch a niche blog and successfully sell it for the most money in SitePoint.com within 30 days.

What you see in this auction is the result of what I have built and produced within only 30 days. This same system can easily be duplicated and reproduced targeting yet another niche.

What Is Included In This Transaction:

  • The Domain Name: DebtConsolidationBook.com - This is a very brandable domain name. It clearly illustrates its purpose as when people see the name they actually expect to be presented with books as well as services related to debt consolidtion, debt reduction and credit card elimination. When people visit DebtConsolidationBook.com they have their wallets out, ready to buy or have their finger on their mouse ready to click a Google AdSense ad.
  • The Site Design: This is a custom WordPress theme called AFFAdMax that I designed from scratch strictly for the use on niche blogs. AFFAdMax stands for affiliate marketing and advertisement maximum. The theme is build for one purpose, to allow me to make money by promoting affiliate based products and picking up on residual clicks from Google AdSense.
  • 1 Year of Free Hosting: You are welcome to move the site to your server or take advantage of my free hosting offer for one year. The site is currently hosted on my WHM/cPanel VPS account through BodHost.com. I used WHM/cPanel because of the very simple WHM/WHM migration. Transfering the site from one linux WHM/cPanel to another is very easy. Which I will provide some support for.
  • The Site Content: All content, graphics, and images will become the property of the new owner. All the content published on the site is high in quality, rich in targetable keywords for SEO and uniquely written.
  • The Official eBook: The sale includes our trademark eBook. This is a 16 page very high quality and professional written, edited and published eBook with promotable graphics that you can use either to sell for money or use to capture email opt ins.
  • The Bundled eBook Package: The sale includes our free eBook bundle package that consists of 13 free eBooks with over 275 pages of quality content related to debt consolidation and elimination. This bundled eBook package was used to capture mailing list subscribers.

Current Owner Remarks:

I am 31 years old, married and a father of 3 children with one more on the way. Aside from running a local computer repair and upgrade business and a local web design and consultation business, building niche blogs for the purpose of collecting a passive plays a very active roll in my monthly income.

Traffic is the single most difficult element to aquire to a niche blog. Recognizing this fact, I have always focused on building sites that maximize earnings with a very low volume of content. People are always interested in high volume of traffic that comes coupled with a very low conversion rate on the desired action.

Running a site with traffic is expensive. Hosting is much more expensive, programs and coding break and need to be maintenanced and more likely people need to be hired in to help run the site.

The niche blogs that I build are all run and maintained by myself and require little to no time invested and require little to no maintenance. This all applies with DebtConsolidationBook.com.

Income Objective / ROI:

DebtConsolidationBook.com focuses on the initial long-tail market and as it matures (like most all of my niche blogs) targeting and ranking for higher competitive words kick in. After 30 Days of being online, DebtConsolidationBook.com did exactly what it was designed to do. It accepted under 1000 visits and converted that into $66.08 USD.

30 Day Income Report:

  • Google AdSense: $16.50 USD generated from 945 Page Impressions.
  • ClickBank: $49.58 generated from two ClickBank sales.
  • 30 Day Total: $66.08

Traffic Details

Incoming traffic during the initial 30 period of development primarily came from social networking sites such as StumbleUpon, Digg, etc. Also my own personal blog generated some traffic as well.

This is actually NON-Desired traffic as it was generated due to the hype of the content with JohnCow.com.

The profitable traffic comes from the long tail in the search engines, primarily with Google.

As you know, this site is only 30 days old. There is really no realistic way to flood search engine traffic into a site within 30 days unless you pay for it or you heavily game many of the search engine ranking systems. I have done neither.

As the site ages and as more and more instances of backlinks become present, the site will increase its rank organically in the major search engines.

Second source of traffic is as the opt in mailing lists continues to grow.

Third source of traffic is in organic article marketing and social network article submissions. Most all of the high quality articles have NOT been submitted into article directories or the common social networks for the simple fact that I didn't want to take credit for these pages under my username.

Preserving the pre-written content that comes with this transaction gives the new owner a burst fire method for gaining a second round of traffic after the transaction has been made.

There have been many instances of when people list their sites for sale in SitePoint and fire off all their resources to inflate traffic numbers to get more money for their site. The result leaves the new owner high and dry without any sources for fueling traffic.

When you purchase DebtConsolidationBook.com you are getting very high quality articles published on the site that hasn't been discovered in most all of the social networks such as StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, etc.

    Garry;

    The site looks great.

Can you comment on the number of backlinks?

Also, what does it cost to maintain this site? Is this designed to create passive income?

    Thanks!

    Hi Texasag90,

First off thanks for your bid. Because the site is so new (30 days online) Google hasn't reported any backlinks as of yet. I jumped over to Yahoo just to see if they report anything and it appears that they have around 195. Here is a direct link: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=links%3Adebtconsolidationbook.com

The cost to maintain this site is next to nothing and that was part of the reason why I launched the site. The second reason happens to also answer you second question regarding passive income. DebtConsolidationBook.com is built for the purpose of low maintenance and the highest return on investment.

You don't have to be skilled in business to run this site, you don't have to be a skilled programmer... all you need really is a computer, Internet access and a little elbow grease.

Right now there are 28 high quality articles that are geared towards targeting what I call, "Click Happy" people. The people that visit DebtConsolidationBook.com are looking to get out of debt. They are looking for solutions, they are looking to purchase various products and services that will help them.

Google AdSense performs amazingly on the site. ClickBank does quite well too.

Here is the thing needed to keep the site alive. Just like any site, it has to stay fresh. You'll need to keep it updated with new content. The more content you add the better.

Luckily, content comes very easy for DebtConsolidationBook.com. ClickBank has an amazing amount of products that you can simply write very simple and easy to follow reviews on. Writing your own quick and simple reviews on relevant ClickBank products will enable two things:

1.) Increase the likelihood of picking up affiliate commissions via ClickBank.
2.) Super increase the likelihood of picking up Google AdSense clicks based off super relevant ads generated from the content written.

The WordPress theme that I created from scratch is designed to present the product first and then present PPC ads. So regardless of what the visitor does, there is a huge chance that when the visitor leaves the site, they would have either purchased the promoted product from your choice affilate program such as CllickBank or leave via an AdSense click.

This same model is what I use time and time again on many other niche sites. If you should have any additional questions, I'll be here to help answer them.

    Best Regards,
    Garry Conn
