Description

VMK Underground is a fan site forum for Disney's Virtual Magic kingdom. There are over 600 members and 700,000 page views. Virtual Magic Kingdom is an online RPG game produced by Disney. The Virtual Magic Kingdom has a limited dictionary that restricts users from speaking out their mind. This makes it hard for users to meet and trade furniture. VMKU fixes this; fans of VMK join VMKU to trade their virtual furniture and to talk about VMK. Users also come to VMKU to get guides and help their way through Virtual quests. VMK Underground is one of the most popular VMK fan sites. I have contacted the people who run VMK and they are ok with people running fansites so there is no conflict of interest. The site has more potential and there are more players out there just waiting to discover this site. The site has reached almost 80,000 pageviews in one day. The site could make even more money with better ad placement. The site runs perfectly on a shared hosting account. I opened up VMKU as a hobby, but the forums have grown much bigger than I expected. I no longer have time to maintain this forum with college coming around the corner. There are plenty of users who are willing to moderate the forums and make it virtually effortless for you to run the site. Hosting expires soon, so the winner can expect a quick transfer. The domain is registered through GoDaddy and it will be pushed to the winner. The site is running a registered vBulletin owned license. The license will not be included with the sale because it is going to be used for another website in the future.

VMK Underground has came a long way. Traffic comes from many sources online and offline. Some traffic comes from various popular VMK key phrases that are searched on Google and Yahoo. The majority of the traffic comes from word of mouth online and other sites linking to us. One of the members of VMKU is a hobbyist programmer that programs for the site for free. Your members list shows quite a few people that aren't posting, then a few that are posting a lot. From the looks of it, you have members registering just for the heck of it but not using it. It just looks a little strange that you have all the pageviews, a ton of members, but a huge percentage of the members not doing anything.

Do you have a test account we can use to log in and test the site? Do you actively admin the site, or do you have someone else that does that for you. Do you have any mods?

Is the license to the Element skin included?

Did this used to be on a different URL? VMKU.net was registered July 17, 2006, so about 6 weeks old. Wait, the oldest post I could find is dated July 23, so, probably not.

By the way, I own vmkingdom.com, I may be interested in adding this site to the lineup.

Are you in Orem, or just your hosting?

Is the code generator still working?

Did most of the traffic come from digg?

    We need more details.

No, it is no longer working. We helped those webmasters fix the loop hole that was in their system; hence, it is no longer working.
